Drawing Class
Drawing competition was organized and the themes were announced well in advance. Students participated in huge number. The judge of this competition was Dr. Prabha Chiniwar, Secretary/Principal of Basava International School.
Teacher's Day Celebration
Children of BIS celebrated Teacher’s Day on 5th Sept, 2017 by worshiping the portrait of Dr. Sarvapali Radhakrishanan. Principal Dr. Prabha Chiniwar explained why Shri. Radhakrishanan’s Birthday is celebrated as Teacher’s Day all over the nation. Kids took blessings of their teachers after coming to school and organized games and entertained teachers. All the teachers remembered their childhood.
Karnataka Rajyotsava Celebration
On 1st Nov, 2017 the campus was filled with yellow and red colour to celebrate Karnataka Rajyotsava. Students showed their patriotism by speaking pure kannada whole day. On the eve of Karnataka Rajyotsava, Rangoli competition was organized for students and staff. The students and staff participated and showed their creativity.
Children's Day Celebration
Celebrated Children’s Day on 14th Nov, 2017 in a unique manner. All the children and staff members came to school in traditional dress. Some of the students dressed themselves as a leader’s role, and they also understood how awesome they feel in traditional dress. On the same day a movie ‘Khabi Pass aur Khabi Fail’ was showed through LCD projector in school. This film motivated children and made them to understand how the mind works and how it should be protected form evil.
